Make a Difference
Be an office Volunteer at Arthritis Research Institute of America
The Arthritis Research Institute of America (ARIA), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit research organization, needs office volunteers to:
• Enter research information in our database
• Help us convert X-rays into digital files
• Assist us in greeting participants during study days
• Staff special events such as stadium nights and fundraisers
Students
We have flexible hours and days to fit your schedule. Fulfill your Bright Futures or community service hours at a not-for-profit that is making a difference in research and health care.
Seniors
Help us learn more about a crippling disease that affects more than 27 million Americans older than 50.
Why volunteer?
Many seniors choose to volunteer their time after they retire. Other adults make giving their time to a cause a regular part of their lives before then. Some want to
do good, and others enjoy the positive benefits of helping others. Students can gain valuable experience to list on resumes and school applications. In some cases, volunteering is required by the school or college they attend.
Whatever your reason, volunteering will make a difference in the lives of others who need help. Supporting a worthy cause with a donation keeps an organization’s doors open, but donating your time makes what goes on inside those doors worth continuing.

Here's what ARIA volunteers have to say:
“I volunteer because it makes me feel good. I get more out of helping participants than I could ever get doing anything else.”

“I am planning a career in medicine and volunteering at ARIA is a great way to work with researchers while I'm still in high school.”

“It's a wonderful feeling to know that I can still make a difference just by giving my time.”
